You are spending good money on our cables, they are warranted for life, and if there is a defect and you are unhappy we will take them back. The quality and content of materials being used will generally 99.9% of time exceed the cables you already have - delivering a new life, sound-stage and cable performance you will appreciate. If you have higher awg, and identical materials compared to what we use then experience may vary. Yes there are 40-50 thousand dollar cables that sound as good as ours. Some cables are made of the same pure silver, or silver plated multi sized strand wires we use, yielding high performance sound. Except at a much higher cost. We do not have share holders, we dont need to jack up our prices. We are confident you will benefit and enjoy our cables. 

Yea, you have seen regular copper interconnects go for 3000 dollars. You have seen speaker cables built with minimalist materials and gauges go for 10 thousand dollars. Heck you've even seen copper speaker cables with plated end connectors retail for 15-50 thousand dollars or more.  The cable AWG along with material type/quality will determine the boldness of the soundstage and emergence of detail. You've even seen the "silver lines" available for upgrades that skyrocket name brand prices.  Were not kidding when we say our speaker cables will perform or exceed copper cables retailing at 15-50k.  The reason for the high quality sound stage is due to the materials used. Clean crisp transmission signal, detailed resolution; these are the results of high AWG and EMI/RFI canceling properties of geometric run wire.  We start with the best materials and use silver solder. For our interconnects we use pure wire and pure silver terminals. For our speaker cables we use a balance of materials(silver plated copper, or pure silver) types with the pure silver terminals.  All of our components come with pure silver terminals standard if you haven't caught on yet. 

When we talk about copper vs silver we have to apply what we know based on the work of others to create solutions that best suit our needs. There are smarter people that figured this out long before we all got into the hobby. 

When it comes to interconnects, the cables are running low voltage so specialty materials are required for performance gains. From top to bottom we can observe what is the best based on current materials knowledge and real world practice.

1. Full silver wire  + silver connections + air gaped cores + geometric arrangement.

(we feel that air gaping itself isn't needed unless the user asks for it in interconnects)

2. Full silver wire + silver connections + geometric arrangements.

(this is what we recommend for cost and performance gains).

3. Silver plated wire + silver connections + air gaped + geometric arrangements.

(air gaping is only by request on interconnects)

4. Pure copper + plated connections + air gaped + geometric arrangements.

5. Pure copper only +  plated connections + geometric arrangements if possible.

When it comes to speaker wire, the cables are running high current in a very detailed signal transmission method.  Specialty materials are required for performance gains. From top to bottom we can observe what would be the best based on current materials knowledge and real world practice.

1. Full silver wire + silver connections + air gaped cores + geometric arrangements - this is considered the top of the line no cost barrier to cable builds.

(we feel that silver plated works in high current speaker wire just as good as pure silver by about 1%, however silver wire is undeniable in quality and signal transmission, at 4x the cost for speaker wires).

2. Full silver wire + silver connections + geometric arrangements.

(this is how we recommend for cost saving low core count short distances, VERY VERY SHORT RUNS for detailed signal transmission, almost indistinguishable from option 3)

3. Silver plated wire + silver connectors + air gaped + geometric arrangements.

(this is how we recommend for every day speaker cables for cost and performance gains).

When it comes to power cables, the cables are running high current so specialty materials aren't as specific for performance. However what is important is the theory, technology and operational qualities that a power cable has. From top to bottom we can observe what would be the best based on current market knowledge.

1. Silver plugs + silver wire + air gap + geometric arrangements - at this level it is considered the best in materials and technology but aren't needed for A/C connections as the voltage is very high and the distances arent that long. Silver can be bypassed in this use case unless the user wants the ultimate in power jewelry. 

2. Silver plated copper seems to be the "one-up" best from copper...add an air gap + geometric arrangements and you have a sublime cable one up from option 3 and superior to even most commercially available air gaped cables. Add some silver plated copper plugs and you're in the zone.

3. Copper only + air gap + geometric arrangement + plated copper plug.

(this seems to be the absolute best everyday use for dark background, noise suppressed build with exceptional power transmission and what we would recommend for regular use)

4. Pure copper only in twisted pairs or twisted quads with plated connections (this is the most common factory supplied power cable and does not need to be replaced unless you are having noise rfi/emi and so forth - shielded is just a bonus).

5. Regular copper wire with any pairs with plated connections similar to lamp cord style (these are generally not seen as often with hifi gear).

It is very important to understand how materials in the signal chain will shape your sound. Some reviewers and testers haven't even spent the time testing cables side by side long enough to make a clean determination and review. Its not silver that sounds bright, its copper that sounds different. Its not a thing of brightness, its a thing of signal transmission qualities. Silver (specifically) with high end interconnects make a giant noticeable sound quality improvement. With lower voltages in the signal path, and densely packed subtle frequency shifts and dynamic signals being transmitted - you want the absolute best conductor from connector to connector on your components. You want the transmission portion to be as transparent and invisible as possible. For speakers, they operate at higher voltages so copper can behave and perform a little better. By using silver plated copper we benefit from the transmission properties of copper, while the silver coating takes advantage of the surface where the signal is being transmitted along the copper material. Once soldered the silver solder bonds to the silver plating, and the combination and overall mass of the silver plating delivers the sonic benefits of having silver in your wire. Almost to the performance factor of 1% or less of what a pure silver cable can deliver. 

Lastly it is a fact that a pure silver connector is the best you can use, we spare no cost in using these as they retail at or less the cost of of plated brass/copper/alloy connectors. If you really desire a 20 dollar connector(quad set) we can find one for you. 

When to use pure silver wire/connectors on interconnects? Always. Save up, and don't look back. Ask yourself, other than cost is there any reason why you wouldn't want to provide yourself with the best sound possible?

When to use silver plated copper wire with silver connectors? We think these are the best choice for speaker wire for everyday components, amps and listening. 

When to use pure silver large AWG wire with silver connectors? Well as stated this would be the best possible combination. We think this is meant for really expensive speakers where cost is no object. When you are dealing with extremely high wattage with very revealing amps, if the cost isn't painful then pure silver for speaker wire has no objectionable reason not to use it. I personally use silver speaker wire on a small desktop setup with mono's.

Our standard offering is high end interconnect and speaker cables. There is no higher level because we use the best; and most expensive parts, and materials available. For every day performance gains in sound quality there should be a balance in price. 

We feel that pure silver wire + silver connections are best for interconnects; while silver plated copper + silver connections is a great choice for speakers. Speaker cables made with pure silver wire can be at least 4x in cost to the customer with a very sliver of performance gains. Due to the "skin effect" how the electrons traverse the silver plated copper wire.  Silver plated wire has a incredibly large amount of silver on the surfaces.

Our END OF THE LINE approach means there are no upgrade-able components, only cheaper connectors. When it comes to wire we supply the very best options. The only available upgrades we offer are specific to construction build.
